MISSION OUR MISSION Tremont Community Council Home Attendant Program, Inc. is a not-for-profit, community based organization where clients can get the proper care they need. Our Home Attendants take time to provide and assist our clients in every way possible.
In 1981 we entered into contract with the human Resources Administration of the City of New York to administer a Home Attendant vendor program. Under this contract Tremont provides homebound Medicaid recipients with the household assistance necessary for them to maintain their self esteem and individuality. Recent audits by the Human Resources Administration have found our Fiscal and Programmatic administration of the contract to be exemplary. OUR VISION All elderly and disabled members of this community can and will receive assistance with all the daily activities of life such as homemaking, housekeeping, counseling, shopping and hygiene that make them truly alive and not just living out an existence. Tremont’s Vision is defined by services that are carried out by certified Home Care workers. The use of only qualified workers will insure a safe and “quality assured” delivery of services for many years to come.
